How to Contribute?
There are many ways in which you can contribute to Haptik:
- Library Testing
Help testing the library and plugins. It's pretty hard to buy every devices... test Haptik with your device and report us.
- Plugin Development
Help adding support for new devices. Same as above. We're interested in supporting as much devices as possible. Help writing (or write yourself) a plugin for a device you have access to.
- Library Porting
Help porting Haptik to your platform. Work on the Linux-port, start a MacOS-X port.
- Library Development
Help mantaining and enhancing the code base, fixing bugs as well as designing the next version.
- Language Bindings
Help adding support for new languages and environments. Work on the Java and Matlab bindings, develop a binding for your preferred language.
- Documentation
Correct documentation and write tutorials and FAQs. Currently Haptik is pretty well documented for a non-commercial project but documentation is never enough.
